RIVAL RHGFS3 FACE-SAVER HEADGEAR
The Rival RHGFS3 Face-Saver is a premium boxing headguard designed for demanding sparring, combining substantial facial protection with the fit, materials and durability expected from professional-level training equipment.
Its defining feature is the integrated Face-Saver structure surrounding the facial opening. A durable molded plastic inner frame provides structural support while helping protect the face during hard sparring. Rival uses polyurethane foam padding around the headguard to absorb impact while maintaining the structured shape of the protective frame.
The exterior is constructed from premium-quality leather, complemented by a premium leather inner lining for a more comfortable and durable contact surface. Additional padded protection at the rear helps protect the back of the head during exchanges.
Despite the extensive coverage, the RHGFS3 uses an extra-wide eye opening designed to maintain strong forward and peripheral visibility. This makes the headguard suitable for serious sparring where additional facial protection is desired without unnecessarily restricting the fighter's field of vision.
Fit can be adjusted at several points. A circular lace system at the top allows the headguard to conform more precisely to the shape of the head, while bi-directional hook-and-loop straps at the rear secure the fit from behind. A metal chin-strap buckle completes the fastening system and provides a durable, secure closure.
Finished with Rival's embroidered and printed graphics, the RHGFS3 is built for professional-level hard sparring as well as amateur and recreational boxers who want a higher level of facial coverage during training.
This is a sparring headguard and should not be assumed to be approved for official amateur competition unless specifically permitted by the rules of the relevant federation or event.
